Description
As the name suggests this is a perfect place for a quiet family trip. It is a real canoe stroll along the picturesque river and also for those who are interested on the land as well - exploring hydroelectric power stations. Ease of this section allows you to relax completely. With "Calm Słupia" pure relaxation is assured.
Here Słupia runs along the borders of fields and forest, passing gradually into long, narrow and winding pond Strzegomino. After Krzynia, on the other hand, Słupia runs over the bottom of a narrow valley with high slopes and circles the meadows. And so, finally it reaches the forester’s lodge Leśny Dwór (Forest Manor) the hidden among the trees.
On the way you will carry the kayaks twice at hydroelectric power stations (Konradowo and Krzynia). In addition, a small number of obstacles, mainly in the form of fallen trees may appear. Dam will make you feel the difference between canoeing in the standing water and the river with the current if you are in the kayak for the first time.
There is a possibility of the ending the trip in Krzynia, then the section is shorter - 12 km, and the trip lasts about 4 hours.
