The forest section of the Słupia from Soszyca to Gołębia Góra is a great option for people who already have some first experience on the water and want to try something more natural. The route combines wild nature, a gently flowing current, natural obstacles and the real character of a forest river, while still being well suited to paddlers after 2–3 trips.
It is a very good choice for those who want to take the next step, feel more excitement than on a calm lake or an easy river, and discover what a real adventure on the Słupia looks like.

On the White-Tailed Eagle Trail is a section of the Słupia for people who want to take the next step after their first kayak trips. The route is more natural, more forested and offers clearly more excitement than a calm river or lake.
Right from the start in Soszyca, you can feel the atmosphere of wild nature, silence and real contact with the river. It is a very good choice for those who want to try their first more adventurous trip without entering truly difficult sections.
The trip starts in Soszyca, on the border of the exceptionally valuable natural area of the Dolina Słupi Landscape Park. From the very first minutes, you can feel that this will not be just an ordinary trip. The river runs through fully forested terrain, and all around you there is silence, the scent of the forest and the natural rhythm of nature.
Once on the water, the Słupia reveals its more natural character. The riverbed is narrower, the current is gently flowing, and the river meanders through the forest, creating a route that requires attention but at the same time gives a huge sense of satisfaction while paddling. The kayak often carries itself, which makes the trip dynamic and enjoyable.
Natural logjams and obstacles appear along the route. They are not extreme, but they teach manoeuvring, choosing the right line and feeling the river better. This makes it a very good choice for people who want to try their first more technical trip without going into genuinely difficult sections.
On this section of the Słupia, nature plays the leading role. A green tunnel of trees, shaded bends, clear water and no crowds make it a few hours of true reset. For many participants, this is exactly where the real fascination with logjam river kayaking begins.
The last section leads all the way to Gołębia Góra, where the trip ends. It is a good place to finish the day without rushing, take another deep breath and – if you want – organise a campfire at the finish.
It is rather a route for people who already have 2–3 trips behind them and want to try a more natural river with light obstacles.
Yes. This is one of the characteristic features of the route. The obstacles are usually natural logjams that can be passed with the right manoeuvre or by ducking down in the kayak.
Yes. For many people, this is a very good moment to try a single kayak for the first time and feel greater control over the line of travel.
Usually around 4 hours, depending on the water level, paddling pace and the number of stops along the way.
Yes. At the finish there are two public campfire spots on the right-hand side – before the bridge and after the bridge. They are free of charge, but cannot be reserved and are not exclusive for one group.
